The ESL Stand-Alone (English As A Second Language) courses provide instruction in English to individuals entering the United States with a profession or skill, but they need to master the English language in order to be gainfully employed or move on to higher education. A student understands that ESL Stand-Alone courses are “non-occupational”. They are for personal enrichment only. Courses are not intended to provide instruction that will result in the acquisition of occupational skills or employment.
ESL 100*
One Term, Certificate upon Completion Course provides training in English to the student at the beginner level. At the end of the training, student will learn English at the at the beginner level.
ESL 200*
One Term, Certificate upon Completion Course provides training in English to the applicant at the inter-mediate level. At the end of the training, student will learn English at the intermediate level.
ESL 300*
One Term, Certificate upon Completion Course provides training in English to the applicant at the advanced level. At the end of the training, student will be able to learn English at the advanced level. The training will prepare a graduate to pursue further educational opportunities in the United States.
